Protozoan - Any of a large group of single-celled, usually microscopic, eukaryotic organisms,  such as amoebas, ciliates, flagellates, and protozoan. Pseudopod - temporary outgrowth used by some microorganisms as an organ of feeding or locomotion.
Contractile vacuole-temporary outgrowth used by some microorganisms as an organ of feeding or movement. Cilia- cilia are hair like structures that help protists move through water and collect food.
Symbiosis-often long-term interactions between different biological species. Mutualism-is a biological interaction between individuals of two different species.
Algae-are a large and diverse group of simple plant-like organisms, ranging from unicellular to multicellular forms. Spore-is a reproductive structure that is adapted dispersion and surviving for long periods of time in unfavorable conditions.

Plant-like protists?

Include the unicellular and colonial algae. They can live in soil, on the bark of trees, in fresh water, and in salt water.

Fungus-like protists?

They are similar to fungus, they feed by engulfing their food but they are different because they move in their life.

Animal-like protist?

Protists that are classified as animal-like are called protozoan and share some common traits with animals.  All animal-like protists are hetertrophs.  Likewise, all animal-like protists are able to move in their environment in order to find their food.  Unlike, animals, however, animal-like protists are all unicellular.

What is a protist?

A Protist is an organism that dies not fit in any other classification, it is classified in the kingdom of protista. They al do have a nucleus though and live in moist invironments.
