Rules & Consequences

1. Listen when others talk.

2. Participate… 100% every day –all day long.

3. Show good sportsmanship.

4. Encourage your classmates.

5. Wear tennis shoes for safety.

6. Show respect always.

7. Take care of our equipment.

Consequences: (for not following the rules listed above are as follows)

1. Quiet Warning – The student will receive a quiet warning regarding inappropriate behavior.

2. Time-out – The student will be asked to sit quietly away from the immediate playing area.  When the student feels that he/she has gained control of his/her behavior, he/she may return to the activity.

3. 2nd Time-out – This time the student is asked to sit quietly away from the class for the remainder of the class period.  At end of class, the student and I will meet to discuss the behavior. 

4. Severe Clause:  If a student purposefully hurts someone they will be sent directly to the Principal’s office without a warning.  A student who continues to be disruptive while in time-out will also be removed from the gym.
