The desire of the music ministry is to enhance the liturgy by giving praise to God through song.  Music is sung prayer and is an integral part of our liturgies.  When involved in this ministry, it is important to rehearse prior to Mass so you can enhance prayer through song.
Adult Choir	Parishioners ages 18-100 are welcome to join our Adult Choir.  Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 8-9 p.m.  The choir is scheduled to sing for 2-3 Masses per month and for special feasts.  Come and chare your musical talent with our parish.  Contact Scott Mehlhaff at 847-1393 if you are interested.
Cantor/Song Leaders	The ministry of the cantor/song leader is to animate the singing at Mass.  Training is available through the music director.  Most cantors lead one or two Masses per month.  Contact Scott at 847-1393 if you would like to become a trained cantor at Holy Rosary Church.
Hand Bell Choir	We invite you to consider becoming a ringer in the hand bell choir.  This choir practices on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  Men and women who read music are welcome to join as bell ringers.  Substitute ringers are always needed.  The bells play for special feasts and on certain Sundays during the year.  If you are interested, please call the parish office, 847-1393.
Instrumentalists	Musicians who play piano, organ, guitar, woodwinds, brass, or string instruments are always welcome to play at Mass.  We have special feasts where instrumentalists help create moods appropriate to the season or Mass.  Call the parish office at 847-1393.
Joyful Noise	This is a folk group that leads the congregation two or three times a month.  If you enjoy singing or play an instrument we welcome you to join Joyful Noise.  We don't ask for a full time commitment ... come when you are able to.  We try to be flexible with schedules.  Practice is either Tuesday at 7 p.m. prior to the Sunday they are scheduled, or will practice one hour before Mass.  If interestedk call Evy Springer at 847-2361 or Marilyn Windschitl at 847-6550.
Rejoice	This is a contemporary group that practices every Tuesday evening at 8 p.m.  Guitars, drums, flutes, keyboard, trumpet, and other rhythm instruments are welcome.  If you like to sing and harmonize and learn new music, consider joining Rejoice.  Rejoice sings for Masses two or three times a month.  Contact Sr. Patrice at 847-1393 if you are interested.
Resurrection Choir	The Resurrection Choir sings for funerals in the parish.  Choir members are phoned when there is a funeral and are asked to arrive one half hour before the funeral to prepare the music for that funeral.  If you are interested in this ministry of prayer, presence, and music to those who mourn, please consider joining the Resurrection Choir.  If you are interested, please call the parish office, 847-1393.
Young Praise	This is a young people's group of students in grades 6-8.  Members of the group serve as accompanists, cantors, and choir.  They sing on designated Sundays of the school year.  If you are interested, please contact Sr. Patrice, 847-1393.
Children's Choir	The children's choir is made up of students in grades 2-5.  They sing for specifice feasts and occasions like the Pumpkin Liturgy, the Thanksgiving Liturgy, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, etc.  Practices for these liturgies are scheduled about a month in advance and parents are notified.  If your child is interested in being a part of the children's choir, please contact Sr. Patrice at 847-1393.
