How Do I Find the Parish Nurse?  Linda Ditterick, our Parish Nurse, can be reached by calling the Parish Office at 847-1393.  Anyone can call or meet the nurse as needed.

What Are the Roles of the Parish Nurse?

Health Educator Attempts to promote an understanding of the relationship between lifestyles, attitudes, faith, and well-being. Assesses needs for the health and wellness education within the parish community. Coordinates health clinics, seminars, workshops, and information sessions to meet education needs.

Outreach, Information, and Referral Source Discusses spiritual, physical, and emotional needs with parishioners. Makes home, hospital, and nursing home visits. Offers a supportive presence and a listening ear for individuals who are grieving or are in need. Available to visit single parents to address parenting and related concerns.

Liaison Serves as an advocate for individuals in securing services. Refers to and accepts referral from community resources. Communicate with community and parish resources/services staff to assist with care needs. Recruits volunteers and coordinates their activities.  Assists with training needs.
