Holy Rosary Families,
The new sc=
hool
year will soon be here and we welcome all of you, those returning and those
just joining us. We are plann=
ing an
exciting year filled with new ideas, exploration into those ideas, and new
relationships. The school off=
ice
will be open Monday through Friday the week of August 24 – 28, from 8:30 –
4:00 for those who may wish to complete registration, make payments, or
visit your child’s classroom. If you wish to visit your child’s
teacher and see their classroom, please call to arrange for a time to meet =
during
this week. We will not be holding an open house, because the teachers will =
be
at an all day workshop on Aug. 27th. The opening of school liturgy will =
be
Wednesday, September 2nd at 9 a.m.

Hot Lunch Tickets: We serve delicious home-cooked mea=
ls at
Holy Rosary. The cost per meal is $1.50<=
/i>. You may qualify for reduced-price =
or
free meals. Families who have applie=
d for
Tuition Grant Aid through the school are required to complete this applicat=
ion. Applications are enclosed.
2. Daily Snack Milk and Juice: Snack milk or apple/orange juice is
available to each student. Th=
e cost
is $40 per year for students in grades 1-8. You may purcha=
se
snack (milk/juice) by the half-year for $20 or the whole year at
$40. Kindergarten sna=
ck milk
is paid by the Minnesota Kindergarten Program. Kindergarten students do not have =
juice
at snack time, unless they are allergic to dairy products. Please be sure to complete a diet
statement if your child has any food allergies. Statements are available in the sc=
hool
office. This must be done yea=
rly.
3. Extra milk at lunch time: You may purchase extra milk to go with yo=
ur
cold or hot lunch for 25 each, payable in the lunchroom.
4. Registration and Tuition: Please return any registration for=
ms and
tuition fees the week of August 24 – 28, 2009.

DAY OF SCHOOL IS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st. =
School begins promptly at 8:15 a.m. and ends at =
3:15
p.m. Please have your child in
their classroom and ready for class before 8:15 a.m. Students that are late must stop a=
t the school
office to obtain a late slip (tardy slip) before going to their classroom.<=

or the student has a note from the parent.=

Safe Environment
Requirements:
Parents,
guardians and volunteers (anyone over 18 years of age) who plan to particip=

and help in school activities must complete Component A=
and a background check. This =
needs
to be completed each year. If=
you
have completed this in the past year, check your certificate for the date i=

to expire.
